The last two and a half weeks have been spent mostly hanging out with my family… which I love!!

I have to say thank you to my sister Courtney for giving me a reason to be home a lot recently. On February 9, Courtney had her second little one, Charley Kate! After having a little boy first, she brought us another little girl, evening the score out a little at 4 boys to 2 girls (this is having to do with grand kids).

The weekend before Courtney had Charley Kate, Scott and I were in town for his alumni game/baseball reunion and we were hoping that baby Charley might come a little early so we could meet her. However, she is apparently stubborn, just like the rest of the Moriarty women, and was not quite ready to be born (she was a week early at that point, so I can’t really blame her!). Scott had to fly out Monday morning to go back to work and I was supposed to fly out Monday night, but… Courtney was having some contractions so I decided to stay (that was really just my excuse ). She didn’t end up having Charley until she was induced that Thursday, which was really fun for me! I got to play nanny all week to Jay and hang out with my mom and sisters, Jennifer and Kiki, and their kids, too! So, it actually worked out great for me! Getting to hang out with Jay a lot was SO fun! Unfortunately, there were a few times that I had to take Jay from his mommy or daddy and I had to be the bad guy, but he still loved me when I went back to Houston this last weekend so I think we’re good to go!!!

Anyway, I wanted to share some cute pics from my last two trips home. I am SO happy that Scott got to come back with me the second weekend to meet my new little niece! She is just the sweetest little thing
